Allison M. Quient is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Aberdeen (Scotland) concentrating in Systematic Theology & New Testament. Allison is studying under Dr. Grant Macaskill and Dr. Tom Greggs. She is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary (ThM), Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (AP Research MDiv) and Biola University (BA: Biblical and Theological Studies). Her research interests include hermeneutics and exegesis, the formation of the biblical canon, gender theology, apologetics, abuse and a theology of suffering .

She is also in agreement with Nick about the superiority of cats (in terms of agility, unique heightened senses and more neurons). Their major point of contention is about who convinced who of this vitally important point and who has pondered this point longer.

Nick and Allison's Calling (=vocation):

For Allison: filing. Endless filing. And transcripts. She is good at it and when she turns around, more appears - must be the hand of God. For Nick: pastoral ministry.
